ParaPhrase: Parallel Patterns for Adaptive Heterogeneous Multicore Systems
Coordinatore/i: Marco Aldinucci
Membri: Activity:
The ParaPhrase project aims to produce a new structured design and implementation process for heterogeneous parallel architectures, where developers exploit a variety of parallel patterns to develop component based applications that can be mapped to the available hardware resources, and which may then be dynamically re-mapped to meet application needs and hardware availability. Key Features are
This work will enable major progress to be made in programming both current and future (parallel) computer systems. Using ParaPhrase technologies, we anticipate that we will be able to achieve significant parallel speedups for realistic applications and that these results will scale with larger systems. The specific aims of ParaPhrase are:
