If you are a student participating in Marco Polo Project, you have to submit the application form at the Italian Consular or Diplomatic Representation, competent for the territory. The deadline may vary according to Ministerial Regulations, for this reason we recommend you to check the deadline on the MIUR website.

Here the documents you need to produce to start the administrative procedure in order to matriculate:

First cycle degree courses

- original of upper school leaving qualification (or equivalent certificate), awarded after 12 years of education, provided with a certified translation  (a professional translator can write it)  into Italian language, legalization and dichiarazione di valore (declaration of equal value), a document issued by the Italian Consular and Diplomatic Delegation, competent for the territory;
including the certificate for the academic qualifying examination called “Gao Kao”.
- 2 photographs; one of them must be authenticated by Italian Consular and Diplomatic Delegation, competent for the territory;
- a valid identification document (passport)
- economic guarantee (essential to get the visa); 

Second cycle degree courses

- original of  academic qualification (or equivalent certificate), provided with a certified  translation (a professional translator can write it) into Italian language, legalization and dichiarazione di valore (declaration of equal value), a document issued by the Italian Consular and Diplomatic Delegation, competent for the territory;
- original of University study plan, provided with a certified translation  (a professional translator can write it) into Italian Language and legalization, including details about passed exams, hours and notes;
- detailed description of the courses you followed, provided with a certified translation (a professional translator can write it) into Italian language and legalized (the legalization must concern stamps and signatures), including a certification of the University, with notes and hours attesting that these programmes really correspond to the courses you passed; also this certificate must be legalized (stamps and signatures).
- 2 photographs; one of them must be authenticated by Italian Consular and Diplomatic Delegation, competent for the territory;
- a valid identification document (passport)
- economic guarantee (essential to get the visa); 

Please note that as every country has different  procedures to issue the legalization, we recommend you to address to the competent authorities in your country for this matter.

If you would like to enrol on a course with a restricted number of places, you must sit and pass an admission exam.
