<![endif]--> La attività di ricerca di Guillermo Carrascón si occupa del testo per il teatro classico spagnolo e i suoi rapporti con la letteratura italiana coeva; di teatro contemporaneo spagnolo; di narrativa e di poesia in lingua spagnola del XX secolo. È stato P.I. del gruppo di ricerca «Italian Novellieri and Their Presence in Renaissance and Baroque European Literature; Editions,Translations, Adaptations» e componente dei gruppi di ricerca «Spain and Spanish Culture in the Italian Press: 1900-1945» e «Cervantes y el teatro europeo». È componente del Grupo de Estudios Cervantinos che dirige Emilio Martínez Mata dell'Universidad de Oviedo. È professore associato di Lingua, Traduzione e Linguistica Spagnola presso il Dipartimento di StudiUmanistici dell’Università di Torino, nel quale insegna Lingua Spagnola e dirige la rivista on line di iberistica «Artifara».

Carrascón’s research deals with the analysis of the drammatic text in the Spanish classical theater and its relations with Italian literature; also with contemporary Spanish theater, fiction and poetry of the twentieth century in Spanish language. He was P.I. of the research group «Italian Novellieri and Their Presence in Renaissance and Baroque European Literature; Editions,Translations, Adaptations». He is a member of the Grupo de Estudios Cervantinos, headed by Emilio Martínez Mata (Universidad de Oviedo), and has taken part in the research groups «Spain and Spanish Culture in the Italian Press: 1900-1945» and «Cervantes y el Teatro Europeo». He is a Spanish Language and Translation associate professor at the Humanities Department of the University of Turin, where he teaches and directs Artifara, an online open access journal on hispanic languages and literatures.
